UBC Lunar New Year Celebration

On February 22, 2026, more than a dozen dancers from Vancouver Youth Dancing Club joined the University of British Columbia's Lunar New Year celebration, presenting two signature works: 爱莲说 (Devine Lotus) and 醉春风 (Spring Breeze).

After the performance, our dancers had the honour of meeting Premier David Eby and Member of the Legislative Assembly, sharing the story of Chinese dance in Canada.
